A Day At A Time is a collection of portraits of alcoholics and addicts in recovery. They are all in black and white and there is one per year of sobriety from one to fifty-six years. Each has been taken in a place or with objects that symbolise the benefits of recovery for that individual.
Stage 1 the accumulation of the images took a number of years with an interruption due to Covid-19. Three Demo copies of the book formed the basis of our Kickstarter campaign to fund the printing of a First Edition. This was successful so Stage 2 has been completed. Stage 3 involved the production of final proof copies at Taylor Bros in Bristol and Stage 4 the print run of the First Edition.
We have now reached Stage 5. The book launch and small gallery exhibition was at The Photobook Cafe in London on the 4th November 2024.
The book is now available via the Shop.
